Building financial confidence from childhood onwards

We established our Bristol centre in 2019 after recognising a persistent gap in practical money education. While traditional curricula teach abstract mathematics, they rarely connect those concepts to real-world financial decisions that shape adult lives.

Our approach differs fundamentally from conventional tutoring. Rather than memorisation and theory, we prioritise hands-on learning through simulations, case studies drawn from actual financial scenarios, and age-appropriate decision-making exercises.

Our Teaching Philosophy

Financial literacy is not innate. It requires structured learning and repeated practice in safe environments where mistakes become lessons rather than losses.

We believe children as young as eight can grasp fundamental concepts like opportunity cost and compound growth when presented through relatable contexts. Teenagers benefit from understanding credit systems before they face real borrowing decisions. Adults gain confidence when equipped with frameworks for evaluating investment options and managing household budgets.

Each programme balances technical knowledge with behavioural insights. Understanding why we make poor financial decisions under stress proves as valuable as knowing how to calculate returns.

Experienced Instructors

Our teaching team combines professional finance backgrounds with educational expertise. Most have worked in banking, asset management, or financial planning before transitioning to education. All hold relevant qualifications and undergo continuous professional development.

Small class sizes ensure personalised attention. We cap courses at twelve participants to facilitate discussion and individual feedback.

Practical Focus

Every lesson connects to real financial decisions participants will face. Theory serves practice, not the reverse.

Age Appropriate

Content adapts to developmental stages. We introduce complexity gradually as capabilities expand.

Evidence Based

Our curriculum draws on peer-reviewed research in behavioural economics and financial psychology.
